Amr was in charge of drafting the National Financial Inclusion Strategy in Jordan and currently coordinating implementation. He coordinates Financial Inclusion related projects with the public and private sector on a side and with international developing partners on the other, this includes managing a project sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation called Mobile Money for Resilience (MM4R) to capitalize on mobile money in order to enhance the DFS ecosystem for the un/underserved population in the kingdom. He is also part of a team running the FinTech Regulatory Sandbox in the central bank. Previously he participated in developing retail payment systems in the country including the Jordan Mobile Payment Switch (JoMoPay).
